WHO WE ARE
We are the Brush United Methodist Church, serving Brush, Colorado and surrounding areas. Together, we seek to create a deeper connection with God, with each other, and with the world around us.
We strive to be a warm, inviting community of faith that is true to our calling. As United Methodists, our mission is to make disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world. To that end, we believe that the circle of God’s love grows ever wider and so should ours. No matter where you are on life’s journey, you are welcome here.
PASTOR SHARON STRAUSS
Pastor Sharon Strauss grew up just down the road in Ft. Morgan, where she also serves another United Methodist church.
Pastor Sharon seeks to encourage, challenge, and equip people for compassion, mercy, and relationship within the church, but also in the broader community and world. She advocates for joy, gratitude, looking for the best in others, and partnering with God in bringing about a more hopeful future for upcoming generations.
She and her husband, also a UM pastor, have three grown children who are still figuring out adulthood, and her dog has been her running partner for years. If you tell her your favorite pie, chances are it will show up at the next potluck, and if you have a favorite podcast, she will definitely give it a listen!
